COVID-19

May 19th 2020

As the Governor of Utah is slowly initiating the process of returning business operations to normal, we want to post our up-dated COVID-19 Policy on our website.

UPDATE May 11, 2020: Full service, in home deliveries, with delivery staff wearing face masks, will now be available upon request.

UPDATE April 29, 2020: Simply Amish, Fusion Design and many other vendors (but not all) are returning to normal operations and are now open for business again. Many more will be back up and running by the end of next week.

We are offering free, single use face masks for our clients at the front of the store.

UPDATE April 1, 2020: We are reducing our store hours to Monday through Saturday 10-5

UPDATE March 20, 2020: Vendors in California and Illinois have been placed on “Shelter in Place” and are not able to manufacture/ship goods. This will delay some of our clients’ orders.

COVID-19 Policy

In light of the recent increase of reported infections of the Novel 2019 Corona Virus within the state of Utah, we have implemented the following policies to help cooperate with the Salt Lake County Medical director and state officials to preserve the health and safety of the residents of Utah. As long as we are able to remain open, we will be minimally staffed so that most of our employees can “stay safe and stay home.”

We are committed to the health and safety of our staff, our clientele, and the entire community of the state (and the globe). As such, we have educated our employees about the signs and symptoms of the virus, proper hygiene, social distancing, and of their responsibility to stay home if they are sick. In addition:

SALES:

-Employees will keep a minimum distance of 6’ from clients in the store and use face masks

-Employees will Wash/Sanitize hands and workstations often throughout the day

-Employees will Disinfect the front counter and front doors after each customer

-Clients will swipe their own credit card and employees will sanitize the pen after use.

-Employees will not come in to work if they or anyone in their household has symptoms

RECEIVING:

-Employees will wash hands after handling new furniture shipments

-Employees will limit contact with truck drivers

DELIVERY:

-Effective March 17th, we will be offering in-store pick-up for furniture, or deliveries to client's garage, front porch or patio.

We are sincerely concerned for those individuals and families who are already affected by this disease and sympathize with those who have lost loved ones. As the threat grows, we will continue to monitor the changing conditions throughout the world and will act in accordance with any recommendations that come out from our local governing agencies and health department.
