Made in the USA using the same construction technique as was used back in 1924 when the Troutman Chair company was founded. The Troutman Chair company stamps the Troutman Chair logo on the arm brace which is attached to the arms on each rocker to identify their quality product. They feel a sense of pride in knowing that they are seeing to the continuation of a true southern tradition; promoting rocking on the porch and manufacturing rockers the time honored quality way of old master craftsman.
We cannot count the number of people who fondly remember their first rocking chair, our Troutman Emilie Rocker. Built like our adult rocking chairs with the same attention to detail; these children’s rockers chairs are made of solid hardwoods and built to be tomorrows heirlooms. Many of our employees have the rocking chair their grandmothers had as babies. For years, Emilie (Baby Rocker) was the only children’s rocking chair we made, but we now offer a larger rocking chair (the Allison Rocker) for the older toddler through even 6-7 year of age.
